Holiday Courses

We run children's 'four-day' holiday courses in the half-term and main school holidays. We do not run them over the Christmas/New Year holiday. Days and times can vary subject to bank holidays, facility and coach availability.

Half-term holiday courses are pool only and 60 minutes each day.

Main holiday courses are two hours each day: the first hour is usually in the sports arena, where divers rotate between trampolines, dryboards and gymnastics mats. The second hour is in the pool, working on poolside skills and then jumps and dives from the boards.

Come and learn to dive as a beginner or develop your existing diving skills. Suitable for both complete beginners and club divers. Can't commit to a weekly term-time class, or want to supplement an existing one? Holiday courses have got you covered.

Important: Children must be upwards of seven, be able to swim 25m and be comfortable in deep water without goggles.

We do not accept childcare vouchers.

Half-term holiday course

Our next 'four-day' holiday course will be in the half-term week: Monday 27th October - Thursday 30th October (3.45pm-4.45pm, pool only).

Learn to dive as a beginner or develop your existing diving skills with our qualified coaches. Places are first come, first served.

Please read the notes on the booking/consent form, which can be downloaded below, before booking. Completed forms to be emailed to membership@stardiving.org

Important: children must be able to swim 25m and be comfortable in deep water without goggles. Parents who want to watch from the upper pooldeck must remove their footwear on entry to the pool hall. The spectator entry is through the double doors towards the top of the outside corridor.
